Designed for you
1. Initial Consultation.
The initial consultation is the first stage of the design process where we meet you to discuss the design of your garden. At this meeting we will establish your requirements, design preferences and potential budget. This allows us to send you a brief and fee for the design of your garden.
2. Site Survey
The garden needs to be surveyed to give an accurate base plan for the design to begin. Depending on the size and complexity this will either be carried out by us or by a land surveyor.

3. Outline Plan
Once the survey is complete the garden can be designed. This will be presented to you as drawings with material and plant images to help you visualise the garden.
4. Design Detail
After the outline design has been approved, the final drawings are put together to give you detailed working drawings from which we or another contractor can quote to build. These drawings will include dimensions, levels, drainage, materials and plants and any other detail required for your garden to be constructed.
Gardens of any size
From the smallest town centre garden to country estates, we have the skills and experience to create a design that makes great use of the space. We use our design skills to make a small garden feel larger than it is, and to bring a larger space together so that it can be enjoyed fully. In short, no matter what your garden is like, our design team can make it better!
“It was by chance that I found Wealden Country Landcraft. Tim Playfoot met me, discussed what I had in mind, and came up with a plan that we virtually kept to. The end result is that my town garden looks twice the size. After an initial planning delay, we forged ahead. The incessant rain was a nightmare, but it is now really beginning to come to life. We have chosen mostly shrubs, the challenge being that there is an enormous oak tree in the front garden which creates a large amount of shade. Of course I am impatient to see it grow. I do talk to my plants, and they do seem to be listening. We have worked well together, and I have had many compliments on what has been achieved.”
